De Kock and Bass dominate the July line-up Irish Flame and Bold Silvano, well drawn. Mike de Kock has a very strong hand in the R3-million Durban July (Grade 1) over 2 200m at Greyville on 31 July.   The final field was announced yesterday and Mike will saddle a record seven runners, including three-year-olds Irish Flame, the ruling favourite, Bold Silvano and Ancestral Fore. Irish Flame’s wins in the Gold Circle Derby and Daily News 2000 show he will do well over the July course and distance. He also drew well at No 6.   Bold Silvano, the second-best fancied De Kock runner, will also jump from an inside stall - No 2 - but Gold Cup winner Ancestral Fore will jump from a wide No 13 stall.   Trainer Mike Bass has four runners in the race, including SA’s ruling champion Pocket Power, the current second favourite, Fort Vogue, brilliant mare River Jetez and star filly Love Is In The Air. He will be most disappointed with Pocket Power’s No 17 draw, but his other runners’ jockeys will have options from their barrier positions, with Love Is In The Air drawing at No 5, River Jetez No 9 and Fort Vogue No 11.
